BTS wrapped up the Mexico leg of their massively successful Arirang world tour this week after drawing an estimated 150,000 fans across three sold-out nights in Mexico City.
The global superstars turned the city into a sea of purple as tens of thousands of fans gathered around the venue each night, with crowds singing along to hits, including “Swim”, “Firestorm” and “Arirang”.
The excitement spread beyond the concerts themselves.

Ahead of the shows, BTS also made headlines after meeting Mexico’s president at the National Palace, where around 50,000 fans reportedly swarmed nearby streets hoping to catch a glimpse of the group.
Videos of the chaotic but celebratory scenes quickly went viral across TikTok and X, with fans camping overnight and chanting BTS songs throughout the city centre.
During the concerts, BTS thanked Mexican ARMY for their energy and support, with RM calling the atmosphere “unforgettable”.
The Mexico concerts were among the biggest stops so far on BTS’s Arirang tour, which has already broken attendance and ticket sales records across Asia and North America.
Following the Mexico shows, BTS are now heading to Stanford for the next leg of their tour as the group continues its record-breaking global comeback.
